No wonder Americans are conspiracy theorists, absolutely nothing can happen in that country without a mass of dodgy secretive weird shit just below the surface. Actually it often makes me less inclined to believe conspiracy theories because America is just like that, if you dig below you will inevitably find evil and corruption, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s connected in any grand plans

Learning about Bohemian Grove broke my brain.
“What, you think all the important people in the country meet up in some secluded spot to do shady shit and plan more shady shit?”
“Yeah, they literally do that. Once a year. They actually unironically meet up and do weird satanic stuff for several days in a secluded spot that allows no trespassers. They physically convene and conspire once a year and the event they do it is also an event with a bunch of odd rituals tied to it.”

I know all lodges do weird pagan stuff and it’s all just for fun. I don’t freak out about that stuff really, it’s just that it’s so on the nose. They do actually do the thing. I’m convinced Alex Jones is part of a psyop that has been going on for decades, meant to make actual conspiracy theories sound insane. “Oh you think JFK didn’t get shot by Oswald? What’s next, the moon landing is fake? The earth is flat?”

Isn’t that mostly a Alex Jones bit? Specifically the satanic part. Worshipping mohloc or whatever. He coined that back in the 2000s. The do meet there, but its all theater kid shit. These people meet everywhere. They don’t need to go to the Grove to do it.

He got it by stealing Bill Coopers style and Bill Cooper got it by being weird about weird things like Bohemian Grove. This is sorta what I talk about with the “psyop” thing.
It is just theater kid things, but it’s still wild to me that they actually do it. The fact that they actually do do weird pagan rituals and it’s not just made up is wild to me. Real “are we the baddies” hours.

Yeah the fact that elite underground pedo churches might exist is disconcerting. I guess the question is are they sitting around planning 911 or are they just like ‘next week would be a great time to sell those stocks’. Who knows…

It also begs the question of why Brian specifically? Why not Witty too? Why not wait till the meeting was over and roblox a whole fucking cabal of CEOs?

What throws me is that he managed to successfully get away, but then decided not to change clothes or ditch the evidence. The authorities clearly didn’t know who he was, he should’ve been easily able to disappear back into society, but instead he decides to wander around in public dressed as the assassin. Maybe he wanted to get caught, but then why run in the first place? Alternatively, the feds have some secret tech for identifying people and the McDonalds snitch thing is just a cover?

I don’t find this part to be much of a mystery at all. What is he going to do, go back to his 9 to 5 and live like nothing has happened, having murdered some asshole in cold blood, but that having changed literally nothing in the world? Like that’s not something a normal person wants to do. Fairly high likelihood he just planned things out without much of a hope of it ever actually going as well as it did, and when it went better than he expected he just didn’t have much more of a plan.

You can’t change the world, but you can make a scratch and seems like his went pretty deep. Why not go back to your old life, let the heat die down and then do it again.

It does remind me of the Columbine shooting a bit, where all the killing happened in a 16 minute window, and they proceeded to wander around for the next 40 minutes before killing themselves.

Something that caught my attention is that his nose, in both cases, are perfectly between his eyebrows. That’s a typical rule for anatomy, and I don’t think plucking would help.

Or maybe I am coping 🥹

I wont bother checking right now but you can look at his SEC fillings for what he was doing with his shares if anything. Executives are mostly paid in shares and bonuses not just a salary. In fact this is exactly the point why sometimes social and economic inequality measurements can skew towards liberal apologia since salary very obviously doesn’t equal wealth so capitalist societies can have lower wage inequality but higher wealth inequality where most of the money is made through financial instruments not wages.

    All of you are wrong!

Soon, this will be revealed as the latest and boldest Nathan Fielder project to date and it will turn out to be a huge prank on the nation. A grand social experiment, if you will!

Brian Thompson will emerge alive and tell us that it was all SQUIBS. Luigi was an actor along with everyone else hired to play a role. The police department was involved in the prank.

Nothing ever happens in America. People will watch the aired TV special and giggle at how they had participated in the spectacle. Then, everything will be back to normal.

That’s it. That’s my grand conspiracy theory.

I fully accept the reality that truth is often stranger than fiction and a lot of these incongruities might just be the chaos and incoherence of the real world where not everything is so cleanly defined or rationally thought out.

But seriously…I want to know how we got to here and what the mindset was. Why didn’t he dispose of the gun? Why the “manifesto” that based on details that are coming out basically reads like a handwritten confession? According to CNN he was found with 8k in cash on him and Mangione made the claim, in court, that it was planted. Now of course he could totally be lying but still…what the fuck? The best explanation I have, right now, is that he was wavering between wanting to ride off into the sunset or step up and fully martyr himself…but all of it is so inconsistent. I don’t know what to make of it.

I’ve been enjoying concocting farcical conspiracy scenarios in my mind since Luigi was collared. It’s not so hard to imagine that he could’ve fallen down the gladio well. Easy to set him up as a patsy. But that also seems like an enormously risky move that, if you assume the powers that be don’t know who the real shooter is, leaves them open to embarrassment. And if they do know who the real shooter is why bother creating a fake one? Seems like a lot of work, that could still backfire on them, when it all would’ve been forgotten about in a few weeks anyway. And the official line is believable. Promising kid from a rich family runs afoul of the health insurance industry, realizes his life will never be the same again, and decides to kill a guy for it. Escapes one of the most surveilled cities in the world as a result of police incompetence and some good planning on his part. Gets caught because a cop lives in the mind of every American over the age of 45.

Anyway, I assume that Luigi is the guy, partly out of “nothing ever happens” brain and partly out of fear that a sophisticated gladio network could really exist, has existed other places in ways that are provable, but I want to believe it’s all paranoid delusion, that the State couldn’t really be that powerful, because that’s too frightening to contemplate. There’s that line you see skeptics trot out all the time with regard to conspiracy adjacent stuff, that conspiracy theorists are just looking to believe in something bigger than themselves that has control, because the random and chaotic nature of life can be too hard to take. I hope that’s true of all the gladio shit.

This insider trading case does give me pause, though. Suddenly, with that much money on the line, shit that I would normally think is impossible doesn’t sound that farfetched.
