I really wanted to make the title: “Kornacki Arm” but it makes no sense.

There’s the slightest possibility that if Trump is kept off the ballot in Colorado (the latest decision is being appealed), then some 3rd party candidate could (again very slight possibility) win the state, causing no-one to have enough electoral votes.

Extremely unlikely for many reasons, but it would be hilarious.

Edit: lmao what if RFK Jr. demands the Vice Presidency in exchange for his electoral votes?

I think this was from late October and his numbers have only shrunk a bit since, but here’s Biden’s general job approval rating by age from a NYT-Siena poll:

Net approval rating being consistently higher the older you go is fucking wild for a Dem president lmfao, it was the complete opposite for Obama

His boomer supporters being nearly 5x more enthusiastic about him than his zoomer/younger millennial supporters is also very telling

Going back to 2020, Gen Z is the only generation that voted for either candidate with a genuinely large majority. No other age cohort swung more than +10% for one candidate except gen z, which voted Biden’s ass +34% even with the lowest turnout. He’s fucking doomed if even a fraction of those past voters are done with the “lesser evil” bullshit, and they are

I have a distant hope that the Biden team will actually put the reelection over appeasing Israel. Distant. Distant. But the hope is there!

But if you look at it from the black side - if Biden loses - for decades they’ll be filled with anger as they can punch left and rant about how every problem is due to us.

This is what I’m talking about…

The real danger is not that they’ll vote for Trump, but that they’ll stomp off and stay at home. And then when a fascist wins, they’ll say “I didn’t do it.” (Alternate: “I voted for [inane minor no-hoper weirdo candidate”]

If a Trump win happens due to this conflict, just wait until their misplaced ire at Biden fades and pivots to blaming all Jews in general for all the predicaments and woes the Trump administration ushers in thereafter. They’ll be mirrorless. Hand in glove with ‘blame Soros’ crew

I edited all of this for clarity.

They can always punch left and whine and complain, that’s literally all they ever do. They don’t need Biden to lose for that!

Okay yeah, when Trump wins they’ll cheer when I’m led to a “”“conversion therapy”“” camp because I deserve it for not supporting Biden.

But I don’t think they actually want that outcome. They’d still prefer for Biden to win. Gravedancing on leftists is their consolation prize.

But I don’t think they actually want that outcome.

I don’t know what they want. But there does seem to be a self-righteous streak that they know in their bones they’re right and they will be proven to be right. It’s an awesome feedback loop for them and they love it to death. If Biden wins - they say “See? Told you. We knew it!” If Biden loses - other factors were at play that made him lose. He didn’t fail the voters. Oh, no that’s not it. That can never be it. The voters failed him.

I used to be a liberal. I was one for nearly all of my life. But I don’t understand liberalism at all anymore. It’s like a profound loss of religious faith. Why did I believe any of that stuff?

41% over 65 disapprove? Is it that he’s not doing enough genocide, or is it because they want the person doing genocide to have an R next to their name?

Do the democrats even have a leader? Whose job is it to put him to pasture? I’ve never been clear if they actually have a party structure or not.

It’s genuinely impressive how Dems push for and rig for the least appealing people possible before going surprised-pika when nobody wants Republican Crypt Keeper.

It’s inspiring how Biden is destroying his 2024 chances and the chances of the dems in federal races so he can have a very high approval rating in Israel. Actually - to be honest - I’d love it if American tv news interviewed typical American settlers in the West Bank. I wonder how they’d phrase things. Like this?..

“Do I like Biden? Very much. He’s good for Israel. Will I vote for him? Of course not. He’s a democrat! And Trump is even better.”

          1.7 fucking percent

That surprises me. I woul have guessed 15+%. I guess they figure they’re in the Holy Land with God’s approval so voting in the US doesn’t matter much. But if Bernie had been the 2016 candidate - the voting percentage would have skyrocketed.

          The following made me laugh.

The Trump administration “just came and flipped the script. They said, we don’t have to hinge peace in the Middle East on the Palestinians,” says Etana Hecht, an Israeli American voter who arrived in Jerusalem with a convoy of cars decorated in Trump flags. She praised Trump’s diplomatic agreements brokered between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan, deals that sidelined Palestinians but enthused Israelis. “We’re already looking to make our son’s bar mitzvah in Abu Dhabi,” Hecht says.

Jesus, are we really still waving out little teams pom poms around like we’re cheering for our favorite team? I’m capable of recognizing Biden’s short comings AND realizing that another term of Biden is UNBELIEVABLY preferable to Trump. I don’t have to fucking like him, I just have to recognize that I’m caught in a shitshow of a country with a government captured by its 1%.
