Nothing too fancy, we just talk about our hobbies.
Me? I like baking, nothing feels quite like making something delicious for family members on thanksgiving. If I could learn any skill, it would be enough about tech, coding, art, and music to make games. But I am particularly interested in making video game music.
There’s this little rodent that lives in my bedroom that I take care of. Other than that I do a lot of gardening
Hiking! Cheap af, great way to stay in shape and immensely fulfilling.
Collecting retro consoles cos I’m a looooooossseeerrrrr. Sometimes board games
I like singing karaoke, drawing, and writing. Don’t really get to do any of them enough
Ideally? Reading history, camping, record collecting, guns. I’ve been wanting to start going to the gym, and learn how to ride horses from my in-laws who have a few and have offered to teach me.
In actuality? Not a whole lot. Depression and untreated ADHD make it difficult for me to do much of anything beyond doom scrolling and making myself fat with junk food. I have a hard time focusing on my reading, particularly when it comes to theory, which I desperately want to read more of. And I haven’t been able to make myself go out camping in a while.
I feel like I’m getting stuck in a rut, like my body and mind are at cross purposes and the latter can’t compel the former anymore. I’m not really sure what to do about it, but I don’t really like myself right now, that much I am sure of.
I build rockets 🚀
Banjo. I got like twenty other hobbies, but banjo is what I save my teensy bit of energy at the end of the day for.
Jogging, baking, Chinese tea ceremony when I can afford it.
i read weird fantasy books and fanfiction, especially ones that suck. i love getting angry about terrible writing
Tabletop wargaming, specifically the hex and counter kind. Only one I’ve really played is Panzer Leader, but I’m looking to expand my collection.
Hobby gamedev/modding, cooking & baking
Sometimes gardening, sometimes drawing

I 3D print and paint models that I think are cool. Maybe I’ll post some
I like staring at the sun and moon at various parts of the day and night. This is what passes as backyard astronomy in suburbia.
Jacking off
