Wtf kind of “media” are you consuming that says that?
“Media”
I have no idea what that’s supposed to prove, and I don’t think you’re gonna be able to explain in a way that makes any sense or you would have done so already
It’s a war for oil. NATO wants to get off of Russian oil, that’s bad business for Russia.
But you’re kind of distracting from the point. Regardless of who you think is in the right or wrong, defense contractors are making big money. This isn’t unlike any past war. The rich profit while the working class dies.
Interesting how these folks will insist that the newest war is “unlike any other” and they will admit that wars fought 20-30 years ago or longer were just fought over resources, but this time, it is totally different and this is absolutely a moral war that the good wholesome chungus freedom brigade is fighting for freedom!
I look forward to these people in 10-20 years admitting that this war’s whole purpose was profit as they salivate at the “morality” of the current conflict their leadership has shoved down their throats.
When your morals are dictated by clout, that’s what happens.
People who sell equipment for war make money when there’s a war?!
Shocked, I’m shocked I say!

But acting like Russia invaded Ukraine because NATO said they’d want to stop buying Russian oil makes zero sense.
Even Russia knew that invading a sovereign citizens would lead to oil sanctions.
Like, none of what you’re saying makes any rational sense…
So it seems like you agree with the premise of the meme.
Then why do you suppose Russia invaded Ukraine?
And by the way, I am not alone in the view that this is a war for oil.
The article goes on to say…

I am very curious to hear what you think the reason for this war is.
1st off (and this shouldn’t need to be said) them profiting off a situation doesn’t mean they created the situation. Do you yell at the grocery store for making you hungry?
Someone said NATO started the war because they want Russian oil…
So for “proof” of that, you linked an article about how Russia might have considered Ukraine’s energy supplies before invading it?
How are those two the ngs related?
It’s seems like if that logic is sound to you, you’d believe that you could replace any political entity in place of NATO and it would be just as much “proof” of them starting the war…
Why do you think that’s more likely then the one that decided to invade was the one that actually did the invading?
I know I’m not getting a real answer, but it’s like seeing a trainwreck
Ooh boy, look at those strawmen. I would respond to each of your points, ask for clarification, etc; but you didn’t bother to respond to my question posed to you: Why do you think Russia invaded Ukraine?
