Idk why but I was reading about SCO a few days ago, the company, not the SCO Group ppl that attempted to suck all the blood out of Linux users in the 2000s but a different company they assumed the skin of after those ghouls purchased SCO’s intellectual property

And by “reading” I mean reading the Wikipedia article cuz I couldn’t sleep cuz my teeth hurting too much xwx (I got this treated today don’t worry but I am mildly delirious still)

The page describes these company-wide parties called the “The SCO Follies” or whatever, in a positive light, where they would host like fuckin plays and operas and shit dedicated to weird company ideology and intrigue lmao

And just a few hundred word above that is the section talking about how the CEO was sued by a bunch of women who worked at the company for being a creepy sex pest :|

I assume whoever wrote this article or the sources for it is immersed in this culture cuz… I assume the company-wide Bacchanalia must have been fucking horrific as soon as the techbros got some alcohol in their blood xwx. Just bizarre stuff. I wanna believe it’s all fun and not cult stuff but to be real it was probably very uncomfortable for a lot of ppl
