I recently saw this on the news and they mentioned that it was online “propaganda” and recruiters radicalizing youth to attack Jews in Australia. The accompanying images had swastikas and other poorly spray painted drivel. Are these overblown or is it a combination of geniune anti-Semitism and Mossad doing false flags? And the tone of it on the news made it seem like they were trying to imply Muslims and pro-Palestine people doing it. Australian hexbears, can y’all help us understand what’s going on to filter the usual bs from mainstream press?

For decades there have been pro Palestine activists in Australia

The prominence and popularity of neonazis really increased during and after Covid, particularly in Melbourne

I’m pretty sure this is mossad hiring people to do non violent but vile shit to rally support for Israel and crush pro Palestinian movements.

In light of mercenary allegations nothing else makes sense.

NB, some stuff that’s been labelled antisemitism is just people targetting awful people in favour of genocide, but there has been some legit antisemitism too.

idk why mossad is wasting the effort, Albo and state Labor are more than happy to tighten the screws regardless. Public support/opposition is immaterial

Some genuinely anti-Semitic attacks have taken place, like arson targeting Jewish neighbourhoods and synagogues and Nazi graffiti. Interestingly Australia’s version of the FBI is publicly claiming that cryptocurrency may have been paid to people by a foreign state to carry out the attacks. I wonder which state would have an interest in conflating anti-Zionism with Nazism? Of course no-one can say for sure yet, but Israel was pissed off with the Aus govt. for some of its actions during the ongoing genocide, - mostly symbolic and useless actions like UN votes and stuff, but historically Israel has cultivated assets within Aus politics to ensure continued support from the country. Maybe they’re worried that support is slipping away? Or maybe the police are just talking shit and there are no foreign states involved - just as plausible really. There are organised Nazi’s around Melbourne where the attacks have been occurring too

Genuine comrades would not carry out attacks like those focussed upon in the media (or attacks at all). The anti-Semites who burnt the synagogue in Melbourne and the child care centre in Sydney are almost certainly fascists. They achieve the double aim of terrorising Jewish people living in Australia and drawing increasing police attention against leftist protest against the genocide. Jews Against Fascism, based out of Naarm (Melbourne) is a good follow for anti-fascist news on this.

I buffed some hooked cross graff in my area recently. I’m not in the city tho.

edit: the shit in my area was probably just kid shit, crew beef or basic local racists rather than anything psyop related.

we do have an “active club” in the area. shit sucks.

Hard to say. I’m not from the city its going down in, but I’d guess probably a combination. Parts of our government and media desperately want to think it’s Muslims and pro-Palestine people. And honestly I have seen my fair share of legit pro-Palestine graff (you can tell because it’s spelled correctly and there’s no swastikas), but not on personal property. We do have an actual nazi problem though, and I wouldn’t put it past them to try to co-opt anti-zionist messaging and/or use it as a recruiting tactic. But also at least partly false flag. Some of the more serious arson attacks were apparently bought and paid for, and the latest vandalism was “not politically or racially motivated” – whatever that mean$.
