To that note, all they’d have to do is pick him up while he’s sleeping and put him in an office building with the most basic mock-up of the White House and he’d never notice. He won’t remember the shape of the oval office, just plaster up some generic out doors pictures for “windows”, get some college theater kids to play staffers and joint chiefs. If he comments that something is off, just tell him there’s some remodeling going on. Gradually transition him to the memory ward and just tell the nurses to tell him that they’re his new aides and that he’s solved whatever issue he asks about.
Some nursing homes and hospitals have built fake, imitation bus stops for their residents who have dementia. Some of these bus stops are even fitted with old advertisements and timetables to give a sense of familiarity. The residents will sit at the bus stop waiting for a bus to take them to their imagined destination. After some time, a staff member comes to escort the clients back to the home.
She’s not awesome from a leftist perspective, but since she’s been in office, a lot of better things happened in Michigan. I’m “happy” to have her at the helm for what it’s worth (over anyone else who ran, obviously.)
I would like her to unfuck what Snyder did to local government and utilities, maybe him too instead of making his legal problems dissapear. But she did codify abortion and queer rights, though I think it’s largely Dana Nessel for that.
If she doesn’t distance herself from the reckoning coming for Genocide Joe she and dems will get screwed in the next election.

Dementia and memory loss are terrifying which is why I think it’s funny and good it happened to Reagan because he deserved it.
Legit, that’s the one thing that I would probably seek MAS for. Lewy body dementia sounds like a fate worse than hell.
Edit: Regan didn’t deserve to make it to that age. Hinkley should have done some target practice and I will never forgive him for neglecting to do so.
