The justices lifted a judicial order that required the U.S. government to give migrants set for deportation to so-called “third countries” a “meaningful opportunity” to tell officials they are at risk of torture at their new destination

Murphy said that the Supreme Court, Congress, “common sense” and “basic decency” all require migrants to be given adequate due process… the White House in a statement called Murphy “a far-left activist judge.”

Reuters has also reported that U.S. officials had been considering sending migrants to Libya, another politically unstable country, despite previous U.S. condemnation of Libya’s harsh treatment of detainees.

Yo dawg we heard you liked offshoring labor - so we added offshore labor to offshore ~prison labor slavery. Now you can profit from investing in private prisons abroad, profit from the low cost of the imprisoned prison labor slavery-produced products, and profit from even more precarity, locally, driving down wages (as the local ‘underclass’ don’t risk thinking about dangerous things like unions, workplace safety, class solidarity, Palestine, etc. at risk of themselves being deported.) This is what you meant by globalization right? ancaptain
