One of the weirdest real quirks of Bay Area liberals is they love performative generosity. A lot. By that I mean you could probably knock on their door if you look safe enough
and if you play your cards right you’ll get spontaneously treated to a wining and dining extravaganza at the price of hearing their life philosophy and their heroic Main Character Syndrome story of rising to greatness through adversity.
