I do think he believes this. Normally I’d assume a billionaire is doing it purely to personally profit, but with Musk, I do honestly think he is egotistical enough to think he could go in and “fix” the US government and win the adoration of the people.

He’d Ted Faro his way through everything. Fucking up a lot, but somehow being more of a narcissist and egomaniac all the while, fuckup after fuckup.
I am curious to look into that timeline, but don’t want to live in it (for the sake of my US comrades)
