maybe-later-kiddo It’s about pragamatism - Emma

maybe-later-honey Sam “Harris” Seder - I voted for Nader and we got Bush (just going to omit how shitty billdawg was for the left, labor, LGBTBQ and the DNC nominating his VP to extend his policies were or how the DNC went on to rehabilitate mission-accomplished and were willing partners during his reign of shit.)

maybe-later-honey Look honey, we see you and hear you on that volcel-kamala xenophobia, but the reality is there are a lot of racists in this country and we can’t afford to stand on principal now.

Nader was not a spoiler for Bush and I want to [outlandish cartoon violence] democrats who still perpetuate that nonense four and twenty years! after they let the scotus hand the election to bush in a judicial coup they refused to contest to “protect democracy” or something.

These fucking libs get so up their ass about the idea that anyone taking an anti-genocide stance in AMERICA is somehow a “principled leftist with lofty but admirable ideals”. It is beyond their comprehension that Americans are not a fucking monolith, something they should fucking understand. These worm infected idiots can’t come up with a single other reason why someone might look at the war in Ukraine and the Israeli Genocide and think “This needs to end!”.

It is not like the media has been drip feeding the American population every single dollar total for every single war package being sent to both of these foreign lands. All while food prices continue to rise, while historic levels of credit card debt grow, while people are being crushed with medical debt, seeing their futures cast away on faulty dreams of student loan debt relief. They find it impossible to believe that a suburban white woman might see the destruction and deviation happening over the course of these last 10 months and wonder why it hasn’t ended yet, despite all the money we send over there.

And yet, Americans. are. over it. Their nihilistic, self-serving, addled brains refuse to see reality. They believe that the people of Dearborn should shut up and vote, their families be damned. There undoubtedly is a large range of feelings on the nature of these conflicts, from “It’s my money, give it to me.” to “I need my family to stop being killed”, and that spectrum of belief constitutes most Americans.

One of the fundamental category errors these turd Democrat voters make, and I include Sam Seder in this, is the blanket assumption that everybody to their left somehow owes the Democrats their vote because they’re the only viable party that isn’t the GOP. I hate it so much. I am not a Democrat. I fucking hate the Democrats and think all of the Democrats on the federal level should be tried in the Hague for aiding a genocide. How the fuck is Sam Fucking Seder going to try to argue that I should vote for people that I think should be hanged in the Hague???

        It makes me so mad.

It’s infuriating, and in most cases, unless you live in a swing state, your vote doesn’t count. It doesn’t matter who I vote for, my state has been blue since the 90s, and by a wide margin. There is no doubt who is going to win in my state in November. We make up such an insignificant portion of the vote that we do not actually impact it in any way.

But you know what does impact the vote? Apathy. When people are apathetic about the process, they disengage from voting. You know who is seldomly apathetic about the process? Conservatives. Democrats, if they were interested in winning, would never lose an election against the current slate of conservatives. Part of that apathy comes from people like Sam telling the apathetic viewers in his audience that they need to “vote blue no matter who”.

75% of democrats and 60% of independents disapprove of Israel’s war on Gaza. 65% of republicans approve. Why is Harris afraid to align herself with the vast majority of her voters, against the vast majority of the opposition, on this?

      Why is Harris afraid

I don’t think US politicians support Isreal out of free. It’s the “Washington Consensus” position. There’s no daylight on foreign policy between these people. Most of they don’t have opinions on these things - they hire people who tell them what the only “serious” positions are and then they parrot them

I’ve been on hate-watch mode with their show for a while but jeez it really has taken a dive. Sam is what he is, no surprises there, but Emma turned from saying “the genocide is the most important issue” to “Biden’s out, time for brunch” so fast that her fucking neck broke and she is walking around with her head on backwards. Truly the ultimate liberal, the greatest disappointment, the most miserable replacement imaginable for Michael Brooks

It’s happening! I’ve been saying, there will be no second referendum and here it comes! The stone wall is being built before our eyes. Liberals only ever want to feel like they can return to their cozy brunch.

I like watching them even though they’re libs. But they’ve been insufferablely lib over Kopmala that i figure I’ll stop till after the election. I had to do the same thing whenever they’ve said anything about Ukraine.

They’ve been a pretty good and refreshing view/source on Gaza but you know that streak had to end eventually

On a positive note it’s just a nice reminder to get news and commentary from multiple sources. Especially if you are looking for information on foreign policy and your source mostly does domestic. Or vice versa.
