Nope. In Rust, a semicolon denotes a statement while a lack of semicolon is an expression so you can’t just omit them at will. This does lead to cool things though like if/else blocks being able to produce values if they end in an expression. But the expression type is checked so you’re less likely to make a mistake. In JavaScript I never skip semicolons because I’ve seen those subtle bugs.

Yeah, semicolons are ugly anyway and they’d ruin the beautiful expression of your code.

I’m curious what you use it for. I use Ivy and it had good fuzzy matching.

I don’t use Flatpak much, but I rarely see issues. Sometimes I see minor things like themes not quite being right, but its never been bad enough for me to spend the time to fix it.

I suppose another downside is the need to have the base runtime packages, so it could take more disk space if each app uses a different one. In practice apps will share runtimes though.

I think it may not fit the industrial genre, but certainly fits into goth.

I don’t fully understand how goth and industrial came to be so closely related, but I suppose it could be that both share roots in New Wave? In my experience it’s also a very welcoming and inclusive community, so why limit your musical tastes. 😀

I’m more partial to industrial myself, but I can still go from rocking out to the sound of an old drill on sheet metal to chilling out with more of a ballad like this song.

The last album I listened to was Adios but looks like there’s been one almost every two years since! I really liked how they didn’t seem to take themselves too seriously and I hope theye kept that up over the last 20 years.
