It was meant to be a joke! The cat on the window sill looks like he has just been painted and is drying off. The other two are on the shelf waiting their turn.
Please excuse my cryptic and weird sense of humour!

Do you paint cats for a living?
I think you’re technically correct in this instance.
Capitalism has a solution to the tent problem though
UK - The home secretary is proposing new laws to restrict the use of tents by homeless people, arguing that many of them see it as a “lifestyle choice”.
Thank you for that. I think the kitten is just playing but the older cat doesn’t want to play and seems harassed. I can see that full on scrapping is not good. However when our cat was younger and tried to play fight an older Maine coon who used to visit in the garden he gently put her in her place. After a time they seemed to become friends and would sit fairly close in the garden and she would copy him.
What’s the secret? We rescued a kitten who now tries to attack our other cat. We have tried feeding them either side of a glass but the kitten just stares or buts against the glass. Our older cat just seems so done with the kitten and us for ruining her happy home. I have bought a pheromone diffuser and been advised just to let them scrap it out. After that I am out of ideas
When you have a team lead, technical lead, QA lead, FE lead, BE lead, Engineering Manager and head of engineering, I think most SMs give up trying to get the team to self manage, seems like no one else is interested in that!
I think it’s like jet lag. We have our own natural time and sleep rhythms. If you go to bed late yes your tired the next day, but your time sleep rhythm is not affected, your body knows it is short of sleep. When someone messes with the clock your body is out of sync for a number of days.
Daylight saving is supposed to save a huge amount of energy, and I am all for that…, but could we maybe still not do it?.. Maybe just hibernate for the winter…, save loads more energy and, yes, solved it … and…sleep 😁
Ironic if most UK users just start using VPNs to access content no longer available in UK.
Probably means she’s believing what they told her!
As for the Tories I think this is the ideal extension to their snoopers charter.
Unless you work in recruitment or porn…
Management dicked around and ruined my job, is my most common reason for leaving, job security was next, pay and conditions, many companies will pay more to attract new employees than retain existing ones.
Firstly know you are not alone, lots of people feel like this. I suggest a hobby which includes exercise and meeting people. Exercise releases endorphins and generally energises you. Meeting people helps bring you out of yourself and focus on something else. I do gym classes as it means I am around people but don’t have to interact too much. It’s the same people so I say hi and maybe chit chat a little. A gym buddy is good if you can find one, we never liked to bail on each other so used to go quite regularly. Swimming always makes me happy and my cat! (She likes to paddle but not really what I meant!)
Same earnest stare! 😻
Nah I think they just got a judge who gives a shit about humanity…
The Section of the Public Order Act 1986 lays out rules for how police can control “public assemblies” – defined as a gathering of two or more people in a public place.
Police officers can issue them if they “reasonably believe” that the protest “may result in serious public disorder, serious damage to property or serious disruption to the life of the community”.
It can also do so if it belives the purpose of the organisers is to “intimidate others”.
What surprised me was this is the older legislation. I thought they would use the newer anti protest legislation which even legislates against a protest being too noisy.
