It’s summer, long days for reading cool books.
(If you’re reading theory, maybe also hit us up with a cool quote you’ve read lately if there’s something poetic that sticks out!)

Heard of it??!! The woman at the bookstore gave me a look and didn’t know what to say when she saw the title!
Lol in all seriousness I can’t wait until it comes in. It’s going to be so difficult finishing Liberalism once I’ve got the Stalin book. There’s a chapter from it that Roderic Day put up on RedSails, but that’s from the older unauthorized English translation. The chapter is about Krushchev’s Secret Speech; I’d recommend that if you can’t get your hands on a copy any time soon!
Yeah I’ve been waiting to do a deep dive on Losurdo when more of his stuff gets translated, I’m waiting for the Western Marxism one mostly. Out of the ones already translated, Liberalism: A Counter-History seems like the best.
On the Losurdo/Stalin ep of Guerrilla History with the translators they talk about how his approach to the Liberalism book is very similar to the Stalin book and that they’re very good companion pieces.
