Overall this is a good vid and I love JT, but I have one minor quibble.
I kinda think socialists should drop the whole “there are more vacant houses than homeless!” line. A lot of those vacant properties are in the middle of bumfuck nowhere and/or in such bad condition that renovating them to be livable would almost be/be more expensive than just building new construction. The real housing crisis is caused by a lack of housing in the places where there are actually jobs and infrastructure, being driven by real estate speculators who want all urban housing to keep getting more and more expensive. As socialists we want more people moving to cities, and making urban housing more affordable will require aggressive new construction, not moving people into empty properties.
