I think that was wrong, or at least the reporting on this is muddled. My understanding now is that this person was assigned female at birth and never actually transitioned - the male name was because they used a fake guy’s name in some theft or something in the past. Also, she didn’t have “free palestine” on her gun, but just “palestine”. Also seems like they were notorious in their neighborhood for making wild threats and brandishing guns for years and the local cops didn’t ever do anything about it.
The person was also apparently trans. I haven’t looked into any details because I fucking hate the discourse on this shit from the media.
