Bought a pair of Sennheiser 560s for my computer but I’d like something to plug them into my phone. Of course, my phone doesn’t have a headphone jack (fuck you Google) so I need an adapter. I’d prefer one that allows me to charge and plug my headphones in at the same time, but I can’t find one that seems decent quality. Any help appreciated

I’m especially pissed at Google because they kept it around for so long after. Of course as soon as they launched a pair of wireless earbuds that weren’t complete dogshit they dropped it.

For some reason I can’t edit my earlier post. The seller w/ that price is not Amazon…so a big YMMV. Here’s one from Amazon for $30, so if you want to return it it should be less of a hassle

The belkin ones are pretty reliable for me. They’re also cheap enough that I haven’t minded handing them over to family and friends as needed.

Edit: they also make a splitter so you can charge while using a usb DAC, and it works well too. If you were thinking about that kind of thing in the future

I have one of those, it’s a small adapter, and it adds ground loop noises / buzzing when charging… probably because they are made cheaply without proper isolation from the switching power supply.

They used to make docks for iPods that would do both, I would look for that style.
