Anyone heard of this? Since SciHub hasn’t been getting new articles, so this seems like a good alternative. They have a telegram bot too which seems interesting, but I don’t have telegram to try it. Apparently the telegram bot searches with real-time institutional access.
They seem to be developing an llm bot trained on this material, which is one of the uses I think could actually be helpful to find articles seeing as gpt makes up citations and library search systems are typically shitty.
One downside I see is that the website isn’t Lenin themed.
This project is amazing and arguably even more ambitious then scihub. Their goal is to get their entire library onto IPFS (basically torrenting for webpages) so that the library is impossible to take down and so users can self-host the Nexus client.
I haven’t even tried to use it yet even after posting this like a year ago. Do you use it?
Yeah, it’s the only way to get any papers post-2020 other than traveling to the nearest college library. You just paste the papers’ doi in the search box.
Its been invaluable for my own research papers.
Good to know, thanks!
