Another source: https://theintercept.com/2023/11/17/pentagon-audit-failed/
but remember, we cant afford healthcare for humans. thats a nickle too far.
The sadder thing is we already pay more per capita for Healthcare than anyone else. We don’t even need any money from the pentagon to get everyone Healthcare. There’s enough already. We just need to end all the inefficiencies and profit taking and things like private insurance.
Or how invasive the government is about welfare, social security, or unemployment.
thats all about causing pain to the right kinds of people. theres only one side of the isle in the united states who performs/initiates the ridiculous scrutiny of social services
We could pay for everyone on the planet, but we did a whoopsy daisy.
If a single individual on government assistance was unable to account for $300 we would hear so much outrage from the media on it alongside vocal demands to slash the welfare budget. Yet when a government agency that has “never passed a comprehensive audit” just gives a when asked to account for the bulk of their $3 trillion budget, the response is apparently to just…give them more money?
Why are the politicians responsible for this (and I’m sure there are quite a few of them) not in constant fear for their lives right now?
Because material conditions are consistently hovering juuust above revolt levels. If we want a massive sweeping change, shit will get worse first. People will demand change, but I believe a large portion of society will have to be starving and on the streets before we consider movement that actually does anything to change the status quo, due to the risk of death.
That’s $385 for every person on earth
A clear example of this is the F-35 program, which has gone over its original budget by $165 billion to build a plane tasked to perform many different tasks, none of which it does well.
I tried to get an F-35 to clean my old apartment, it kind of worked at first but it burned down the apartment instead…
I’d say it makes sense to assume the worst. $3T used for the darkest acts meant to maintain power and fortunes.
It’s usually bags of money and pallets of equipment that go “missing” and find a new home with a warlord.
Signs point to a future terrorist attack at the records building, and maybe at the building of the investigators too.
Nah there is no reason anyone in the defense industry has to care one iota about records they probably didn’t keep, nor any investigators that ask questions. No one is going to enforce accountability. No one is going to lose their job. No one is going to mess up whatever gravy train they have going and no one in congress actually cares. That requires way too much work.
yep. and if theyre reporting this much, imagine what they got away with not reporting.
It’s a classic
helthcare pls
Judge not, lest ye be judged. Who here hasn’t accidentally tipped a valet $1 trillion instead of $10? It’s happened to all of us at one time or another.
Wait you people are using valets?
Have they checked between the couch cushions?
Hmmm, have they checked in the couch? You will be surprised what gets lost in there.
I’mma need this author to name at least two “analysts” who genuinely believe the USA instigated Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Who knew R&D is expensive?
