I’d definitely heard of trucks hitting people during the events, and I definitely believed people got hit by tanks, but normally it is described in a ludicrous fashion of ‘hundreds of people mowed down and crushed to paste in the streets’. This particular image is perfectly believable, and fits with both Chinese government and other witnesses description of the events.
