A new study rebukes notion that only men were hunters in ancient times. It found little evidence to support the idea that roles were assigned specifically to each sex. Women were not only physically capable of being hunters, but there is little evidence to support that they were not hunting.

    So many Dwight Schrute emulating tech nerds have this “born Gryffindor” genetic destiny style belief that they are natural apex predator hunters and are just one zombie apocalypse away from proving that. nerd

      It’s Great Man theory all over again. They think of themselves as a special among poo people.

      CHUDs learn that life is not a shonen anime and if anything, it’s a slice of life anime challenge (impossible!)

        The “infinite training leads to infinite power” shonen thing certainly lines up nicely with hustlegrind culture and the LinkedIn “just one more certification bro” accompaniment to that.
