I especially like that the rest of the family play more prominent roles in this season. God damn Catherine Zeta-Jones Morticia, I am both in love with and also trans goals jfc I hope I can be that gorgeous by the time I’m 55.

Pugsly is delightfully grotesque, and even Lurch gets more play. Thing, as always, is far more charismatic than a reanimated hand has any right to be and I think that is due to an incredible blend of practical and CGI effects that I cannot fathom how they pulled off.

I do want to see more of uncle Fester and hopefully Itt finally makes an appearance.

Anyone else been watching?

I also like the very well done plot twist of Wednesday’s stalker being the invisible girl student which explains why she couldn’t be seen in Wednesday’s visions and how she slipped the note under her door without being seen when she immediately opens it instead of picking up the note first. Also the way she subsequently gets recruited by Wednesday and the whole treatment of her thereafter is just perfectly done

That’s good, my slop trough has been getting pretty empty lately. Down to watching “Good Omens” as the only thing I’m going to subject my spouse to during our evening “watch pirated stuff” after dinner show.

lol, yes. Good is… stretching it, but it’s enjoyable slop. It’s silly it’s funny. Cars go vroom and there’s explosions. Lots of class war type rhetoric. And I think Anthony Mackie Twisted Metal is way more fun than Anthony Mackie Captain America.

I think we are totally due for Twisted Metal revival in this age of remakes and the possibilities for destructible environments and cool physics which were a series staple.

Like imagine battlefield style “levelution” where you can destroy all sorts of shit and also trigger big setpieces that transform the map. Twisted Metal was the first to ever do it like with the Eiffel Tower totally changing sections of the Paris map if you blew it up.

The show is doing well so I really hope we get a new entry.

Heard. Google claims there was one in development for PS5 but it got dropped when sony pivoted away from online shit. But internet rumors so who knows.

Did you ever play Toy Commander on Dreamcast? Totally different theme from twisted metal but mechanics were similar and expanded to include planes and maybe boats iirc. Very fun game.

I downloaded it but I haven’t watched it yet. I want to wait until it gets closer to spoopy times. I hate this thing Netflix is doing where they split their popular shows up between financial quarters. Do investors really fall for that? I guess so.
