The episode was pretty funny. “Pickle Rick” is a mild example of “L0l Randumz Xd” humor, because the reaction of literally every other character is that it’s underwhelming and unfunny. the rest of the episode has good jokes, references, super fluid action and gore.

    Yeah people would just say and write in internet comments “I’m pickle riiiiick” just to be sO rAnD0m LoL And there were pickle rick shirts and shit. And so many “memes” that were just that picture of pickle rick. It was a combo of the fan base being really annoying about it and also it being a dumb joke (if you could even call it a joke). The fan base was extra cringe around that time
