Those countries have committed the ultimate sins: they are Asian, they are Muslim, and some of them used to be in the USSR.

Also, Borat the Zionist made it popular to be racist towards Kazahks and that fits into this somehow

Borat the moron also treated a Roma village in a disgusting manner in his portrayal of them as Kazakhs.

He brought a rude and very physical bodyguard with him (because Zionists can’t visit people they consider inferior without a hired goon with them) and portrayed people who trusted him and were nice to him regardless as unintelligent peasants. I’ve seen a segment of a documentary where they visited the town, and the people were deeply hurt by the portrayal.

Also, again, they were Roma, as if putting up with typical Euro racism wasn’t bad enough.

The only instance I think I’ve ever seen of self identified racists coining a new term for a place using the “stan” suffix is “Kekistan” which is their tongue in cheek name for a fictional country embodying the ideals of white nationalism. So not exactly used by them in a derogatory sense, quite the opposite

You’ve never seen the term “Londonistan” just as an example?

There was also Kid Rock selling a shirt in 2016 with “Dumbfuckistan” as the name for the blue states in the presidential election. I personally would avoid using that suffix in derogatory contexts because of the not-so-subtle Islamophobic connotation shrug-outta-hecks
