Nothing more unAmerican? The country has the world’s largest prison population, which they use for slave labour. This is as American as it gets. This is the evil America has always been.
When I think of America I think of mass incarceration for minorities and McDonald’s.
Nothing more unamerican than paying non-American companies to house our undesirables for life. True patriots would make sure that money was going to our precious private prison CEOs.

And Guantanamo is one of the few places we know about, along with Abu Ghraib. There’s tons of CIA black sites where people dissappear and are tortured. Americans just don’t give a shit because it’s being done to Arabs, who we collectively blame for 9/11.

Pretty sure another report from Bloomberg or something said it was like 90% of the people sent to that jail had no criminal record
So like, what do you actually do about this? How long has this camp been going on for? It can’t last forever, right? Do you think they’ll eventually have an Andor “One way out” situation?
