          I’m a three year user here and I’m definitely not confused. The incidence of ableist language has gone up significantly since federation.

          The comments defending the ableist term have since been removed. I don’t know what the significance of the op being from lemmygrad is supposed to be.

              For the purpose of talking past you:
              There’s thoughtlessly using a minor ableist term, and then there’s doubling down and defending it’s use when asked not to.

              Having an ableist mindset is not only harmful to your comrades but also harmful to our movement itself.

              An ableist mindset:

              • Takes the blame off of the real problem, being a chud’s reactionary immature, uninformed mindset, and clouds your ability to react to it in the most useful way.
              • Is not solidarity.
              • Encourages calipers shit.

Rules for me but not for thee, and “reaction” is when you point this out instead of just knee-jerk banning 3 year users for the same crime as you also commit. Again “doubling down” is when people disagree with you instead of just crumpling to your one-sided attacks that are not evenly applied.
