A Palestinian resistance IED strike on a Merkava tank eliminated a Zionist senior commander, Colonel Ehsan Daqsa (commander of the “401st Armored Brigade”), in the Jabaliya refugee camp. Snip:
Colonel Ehsan Daqsa, 41, was killed after his tank and another tank were hit by explosive devices during military operations in Jabalia refugee camp.
Another Israeli soldier was seriously wounded during the same incident.
Daqsa has been described in Israeli media as one of the most senior officers to have been killed since the war on Gaza began over a year ago.
Imagine being a POS in a merkava, designed explicitly to protect its occupants by placing the engine in the front as extra armour, only to hear a gentle “thud” over the sound of the idling engine shortly before the poorly protected side armour spalls around your cockpit and turns you and your closest colonizer mates into shredded chicken.
