Yep, while right now the Western imperialists are focusing more on attacking Russia, Iran, and China, we should not forget that they also want to destroy India as well. India is simply too big and powerful for the imperialists’ liking. In fact, when you take into account purchasing power parity, India easily has the world’s third largest economy. That is why the West already has plots to carve a “Sikh state” out of northwestern India and a “Christian state” out of northeastern India.
Various Russian officials and commentators have pointed out many times over the past several months that any “conflict freeze” or “permanent ceasefire” (such as the ‘plans’ being pushed by Western imperialist countries) would imply Russia not accomplishing the goals of the special military operation (i.e. de-Nazifying and de-militarizing Kiev). Russia will not agree to let the West win. So, the SMO will continue until Kiev capitulates.
Continuing the conflict is also a net win for the BRICS and multipolar world. In 2022, the Western imperialists were hoping to “quickly defeat Russia on the battlefield” and then destroy China. But now, the West is bogged down funding this costly anti-Russia proxy war and can not move on to attacking China.

In an all-out-war type scenario, Iran could fire significant amounts of missiles at US military bases throughout the region. It also has anti-ship missiles that would make the US Navy not want to play that game. And at that point, Iran would do a full closure. A full closure of the Strait could cause oil prices to hit 200 to even 500 dollars per barrel. That’s why Washington is still unlikely to want to get involved in that large of a conflict with Iran. Washington has too much to lose in that scenario and is unlikely to escalate to reaching it. So, more than likely, a Strait closure would be limited.
That would only be an issue for China if Iran were to totally close off the Strait of Hormuz. A much more likely scenario is that Iran would only close off the 'Strait to US/Zionist/Western shipping, similar to what Yemen did with the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
Here’s another way looking at it. Did the imperialists accomplish any of their goals during this conflict so far? Did they destroy Iran’s nuclear program? No. Did they orchestrate a coup in Tehran? No. And what did Iran accomplish? Iran proved that its missile program can pulverize Tel Aviv and Western air defenses can do nothing meaningful to stop it. So it seems pretty clear to me why the West is now begging for a ceasefire.
