They do a good job at hitting a lot of leftist talking points without any too directly triggering words like socialism, communism, Marx*, etc. I’m still more for PSL, but it’s nice to have a mostly coherent materialist analysis existing in US politics.
One thing that came to mind while they talked about red, blue and purple parties was the Dems saying about how ‘we need a strong Rep party’. It is true for them in that if the Rep party descends into shambles a real challenger from the left could easily emerge, which would obviously be bad for the Dems whole thing.
