One of his victims, Chrissie Carnell-Bixler, directly accused Emily of participating in Scientology mob intimidation tactics against another victim at the courthouse.

And both Chrissie and her husband have posted tons of direct allegations of Scientologists doing other horrible intimidation tactics like hiding in the courthouse bathrooms to ambush distraught victims after they finish taking the stand, like a fuckton of shit that Emily never mentions but should obviously have been aware of at the time.

CW: Article featuring descriptions of SV survivor harrassment, allegations mentioning CSA and sex trafficking, animal death

    https://www.metalsucks.net/2024/09/09/cedric-bixler-zavala-and-chrissie-carnell-bixler-are-unsatisfied-with-linkin-park-singers-apology/

Here’s an article with all the relevant posts quoted, the rest of the text and attitude kind of sucks but this is just an easy way to share the relevant texts.

Basic summary, Emily Armstrong to what I can see hasn’t publicly admitted to being part of Scientology, but former member and victim of Danny Masterson, Chrissie Carnell-Bixler and her husband have both named Emily as a “hardcore Scientologist”.

Emily admits to having been at court in support of now convicted multiple rapist Danny Masterson, but claims she only did it one time, as a friend, and never knew anything else or participated in anything else. The Bixlers say this is total fucking bullshit, and that Emily directly participated in mob intimidation tactics against a separate victim, as well as bring up a fuckton of specific Scientologists doing other intimidation tactics or mocking Mastersons victims in private, and that Emily has full knowledge of all of that.

Also they say Emilys parents literally work for the Scientology “Office of Special Affairs”, the internal police who harrass former members into silence.

Thanks for this link. Someone mentioned it when they did the announcement concert and I wasn’t really finding any information on it except a resetera post so it was hard to verify.

Scientology aside(lol), and I don’t really like Linkin Park… like at all, but one thing I did admire about Bennington was his immaculate breath control for long ass screams. I just watched a video of her doing Break and it’s just not there. It’s like they found a semi-famous person that could fry scream and went with it? She makes them sound almost like a Linkin Park cover band lmao.

    A) Linkin Park sucks and I don’t know what was in the water back in 2000 that made us all think numetal was okay

    B) Scientology does the same shit other religions do. Like wait until you hear about this thing called the Catholic church or guys like Kenneth Copeland. Then you have these fucks like Falun Gong. Not to mention all the religious terrorist organizations. There’s an entire country right now carrying out a genocide against people who don’t share their ethno-nationalist interpretation of their religion.

Scientology is just more obviously wrong because we know exactly when, how, and where it started. Mormons get similar criticism for the same reasons. The only reason Christianity gets a pass from people is because 2,000 years have gone by since its original grift.

I don’t think it’s fair to lump all religions in with Scientology. There are offshoots of other religions that are as bad or worse (FLDS, ISIS) , but as a whole faith Scientology is worse (more controlling and extreme) than anything else of comparable size.

But is it, though? Anabaptists and Jehovah’s Witnesses excommunicate at even the smallest levels. They will often do this to people who try to seek justice against leaders over sexual misconduct. Not to mention completely cutting children off if they become apostates. Anabaptists will throw people to the wind for being LGBTQ+, regardless of the person’s age.

And I don’t know how you get more extreme than zionism where they murder children and carry out widespread rape. I don’t think scientologists have open fired on their own believers to kill non-scientologists that might be nearby.

Anabaptists and JWs are both extremist Christians. Methodists don’t do that shit. There isn’t a mainstream branch of Scientology where you don’t have to cut off contact with your kid because they found another religion or decided to just be an atheist, or came out as LGBT.

Zionism isn’t a religion, it’s a white supremacist settler colonial ideology.

You’re not arguing in good faith if, when I point out that many religions have extremist offshoots but are not themselves, inherently, radical and dangerous, you start pointing out instances of radical offshoots of religions. It comes off like reddit new atheism shit.

You want to say that Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism etc overall are just as dangerous as Scientology but it’s just obviously untrue and kind of bigoted.

I honestly do believe everything that has been said (scientology and backing of that fella I forgot the name of) and really wish they picked another main singer at this point. There is no way they did not see this coming and makes no sense.

Edit: or just called it done for LP

I saw one of Chester’s sons airing Mike out on Insta about it and I have so many more questions about what the nature of how Emily got this job is; 'cause Jaime made it sound like Mike’s lying to the public about how long he’s known her and how long From Zero has been in the works (much longer than has been alluded to in public)

I dunno. Til this clears up more, one way or the other, I’m not recognizing this as Linkin Park. Mike already spent up all my good-will toward him becoming a fuckin NFT-bro after Chester passed. I grew up steeped in rap and numetal; and bringing on a fckin Scientologist-- a number that I do not believe can be trusted about anything public-facing they say-- is too beyond the pale for me. ESPECIALLY not a Scientologist who went to bat for Danny Masterson.

I think what’s in my ass the most about it is that Mark Wakefield might genuinely be too busy to pick that role back up nowadays.

It really seems like it’s dying out. Or at least isn’t attracting any newer Tom Cruises. Like look where we are, on a thread where the maybe-scientologist’s name requires elaboration because most people aren’t familiar.

Tom’s by far the most valuable asset they have, always has been I guess.

In the event he ever tried to leave, they would assuredly A. Threaten him with everything they have

and failing that, B. Try to murder him before he said anything.

Sidenote: South Park has encouraged alot of bad stuff, but something I’ll always credit it with is the immense amount of damage they did to Scientology’s public image.

I have to imagine they completely implicated Tom Cruise in some of the worst shit they are up to, so if he ever tries to leave the absurd perks and shit they offer him, he’ll have to absolutely destroy his image and probably the image of friends and families forever.

Tom Cruise basically is Scientology, they’ll definitely take him down with them if he ever tried anything (Not that he would, guy seems like a True Believer).

I can’t see Tom Cruise ever leaving Scientology. I imagine they give him WHATEVER he wants. Like, if Tom Cruise wants someone dead, Scientology just asks how many goons to send.

If you were one of the top people in an MLM, would you leave? You know it’s wrong and predatory but you’re making butt load of money. Tom (I wonder) is in a similar boat. Maybe he doesn’t believe it’s predatory but the money and power makes it that much easier to look the other way.
