I’ve only played a few matches but it’s starting to grow on me, I played Paragon for a while and it’s fairly similar except the map for Deadlock has a lot more tunnels and ways to come at people outside of the main lanes. There’s technically voice enabled but I haven’t heard anyone speak yet, I don’t believe there’s any text chat and that’s probably for the best.
There definitely is a text chat, I’ve seen many streamers use it. It’s easy to miss though because it shows up as small text near your avatar with your callouts.
is this game any good? I’ve never gelled with a moba before and all the others have absurdly toxic playerbases, even by

Same, but I’m enjoying it.
That will probably change when the meta solidifies, but right now everyone is new enough you can do whatever novel strategies and still be effective.
Its the only moba that has actually been palatable to me, ive tried a few over the years but they never took. Deadlock tho got me in a chokehold
