What I do not get about these LLM losers is that long before this image generation shit, any internet user has been free to be up to their fucking ears in various types of porn. All of that porn is pretty much guaranteed to be of better quality than this shit generated with outdated models. I would wonder if they’re using it so they don’t have to pay illustrators commissions, but they often aren’t even generating much beyond the most vanilla shit. Is it just the novelty factor??? This does not even make sense from a cumbrain perspective.

I can say with 100% certainty that that’s just a selection bias because people are more likely to post tamer things and more places will host and propagate those. R34 and fetish stuff is what’s driving most of the community development of hobbyist models, and the things coming out of that general effort (mostly further finetunes of the heavily-retrained SDXL branch called “Pony Diffusion XL”) are also better general purpose models than the strictly general purpose SDXL finetunes.
