Exactly, it was a crappy stop gap solution.

I really hope they don’t introduce a challenge system. It might suit some of the American sports, but would be another step in the wrong direction for VAR in football (soccer). It already takes long enough to make a decision at times. Imagine after all that, the decision is challenged.
After watching the movie twice, then reading the book and watching the movie a third time. I now know what’s going on.
Me too. But I still really enjoyed the weirdness of it.
The event is being held 4 Oct, so shouldn’t be much longer.
You could try podcasts, but that’s mostly for after the games. If it’s just to keep up with scores, there should be plenty of apps available. I’ve been using Sofascore.
What is/are Moto Flashlight and Camera gestures? And what phone do you now have?
The Culture series by Iain M. Banks.
Not sure what it was. Maybe expectations were too high. Tried the first two books and they were fine, just didn’t really trigger anything in me that made me want to keep going.
What a game. Huge win for the Matilda’s!
Good points. And from what I remember of the books, 80% of them was people talking about things that have or will happen, not actually seeing it. I’m not sure a direct dramatasiation of the novel’s would have made great tv.
Your post isn’t divisive because you wrote better instead of faster. You used the term “objective” incorrectly, and are continuing to. There’s nothing wrong with having an opinion, or even testing things out for yourself. That doesn’t make your point of view objective.
Do you have any data to back any of your claims? If not, that’s what makes them subjective. In your opinion, button navigation is faster. Doesn’t make it objective by any stretch.
You can’t say something is “objectively” better than. Then proceed to list “subjective” opinions. Clearly you dislike gesture navigation, which is fine, but that doesn’t make it objectively worse.
I’ve just found the Shield to be unreliable ever since the big android update (9?). I’ve had to set up my server from scratch every couple of months.
But sometimes you might just want to go back to something you upvoted, without needing to save every post or comment just in case.
I’m with you. I’m already seeing duplicate posts/links shared across instances. Trying to work out how managing subscriptions will look as the platform grows.
But they’re the same topic, so there’s a good chance there’s gonna be repeated content across both. Particularly if not everyone is subscribed to all instances.
I’m subscribing to both, but will be interesting to see how duplicate content across instances are federated in the future.
If you want something short and easy, try Elder Race. It’s a novella, but very well done. The good thing about him is that he’s so prolific, there’s a lot to choose from.
