Librewolf is great. Secure and private by default. For compatibility it is nearly as good as Firefox.
A lot of good stuff here. The three things that are most notable for me are:
Notepadqq
Fsearch
Librewolf
Allowing cookies for websites you are logged into makes sense. If you are going to login the site already knows who you are can track you, so you do not lose much with the exception. What I do for some sites like google services is access them from a separate browser.
So like philosopher kings?
Yes they are available on iOS.
I use alt browsers like DDG and Brave that have builtin ad blocking. I also have a pihole.
Good question! After installing Emulators on my Steamdeck I realized it could run as a desktop. Also, I learned it was a rolling release. This seemed attractive to me, so I wanted to hear how mainstream this could be.
Sounds like the answer is not very. Some other good suggestions in this thread I might try, though.
Not anymore according to Wikipedia:

Does it support offline access?
Stop spying on us.
Privacy problems are not policy problems, businesses are choosing to invasively collect data in order to pad their coffers. This is not welcome and just because you try to hide this fact in obfuscated policy language it is not ok.
I would focus on getting top posters from Reddit to move over or at least cross post.
When my kids were younger I monitored their usage and restricted their access. As they earned trust this eased up. Now that they are teens they are mostly free to do what they want. I will still ask what they use their phones for and we have frank conversations about it, but I will not invade their privacy unless there is a good reason.
This is like coming up with an original name for a D&D character: you just put together sounds until you get something that sounds cool. Here is one:
Bryo-Kernatz
Once you have the name it helps you imagine the character it might belong too.

I have used my Yubikey to do FIDO2 auth on Linux Mint with Chromium and Firefox. I have tried M365, Twitter and Facebook but any website that supports FIDO2 should work.
Did not need to install any OS components.
Go to https://vger.app and you can run Voyager as a PWA.
My experience with a number of bug zappers was that, while they did zap some number of mosquitos, this was not enough to prevent other mosquitos from biting us. On the other hand a good strong fan can act as an area denial defense. Not always easy/possible to have a good strong fan going, so YMMV.
Great list! I would also add to this PCR, the technology that allowed us to map the human genome.
