The first version (or I guess second? It’s called V2) has been available on google play for many years as mentioned by @[email protected] but isn’t updated anymore. I have a Pixel 3a so still use it but this new one is not the first release or anything.

Same, there was (still is?) something like this for music, and I failed at it pretty badly… But fun anyway. I subscribed to this one!

Is RCS still a Google-driven scheme? I liked using Signal and its ability for messaging high quality images but it dropped support for nonusers.
