Cuz I went from the 6a to the 8 and it’s definitely much better and rejects a lot less. The 8a has the same sensor. Still has the annoying bright backlight though, unlike the Samsung in display fingerprint sensor. But it’s not really a big deal if you’re already used to it on the 6a and it doesn’t bother you.

2·5 months agoPHP styled forums and Boorus would be cool. I know some PHP forums have recently added activitypub support, but it’s still pretty recent and doesn’t have much of a userbase.
Also a video platform like YouTube in a way. There’s still a lot of issues to solve with that though, like storage and monetization. PeerTube just isn’t going to cut it. Realistically if this were to ever happen, it’d have to be YouTube themselves to add activitypub support themselves and let people connect to them.

If you even remotely care about your privacy, get off of an ad-company’s monopolistic browser. Firefox + uBlock Origin is the essentials for at least baseline privacy, then go up from there if you so choose.

Genshin Impact is my main game, I prefer the really polished open world combat, and down to earth stories with an amazing emphasis on being culturally accurate.
Also the game literally has no grind, so idk wtf the other user is saying. 95% of the content is done non-repeatable. Character’s are time gated by an energy system, but there game is incredibly easy and it’s nothing worth worrying about.
Matrix, Signal, Session. If there was anything as mature an feature complete that you’re looking for, you’d probably already have heard of it
If you can’t practice what you preach, then the advice is just roleplay imo. So if you aren’t legitimately considering doing this yourself, then this is exactly what I mean by unrealistic.
Is this written by an alien? Do you not have family you call, or a job? This is the stuff that makes the privacy community look like a joke, this is not realistic. This is just roleplay.

6·5 months agoThe first thing you need is your pirate ship and your crew. Pirates steal, so I recommend just going to a nearby port and cause a mutiny. You’ll need a pirate crew for this, so you’ll need to go to your local tavern and bribe a few scallywags with some coin and beer. Before you set of to see, I recommend you get up to date on your sea shantys and have a large stockpile of cannonballs. Have fun sailing the seas!
