Yup. People who don’t see the difference between the two are not effected by the difference between the two. I also understand this is for both the negative and positive attributes of each administration.

For Palestinians, I can absolutely sympathize that they see Biden supplying weapons to Israel as much as a Trump doing so. That shouldn’t be ignored.

But on domestic policy, there is a stark contrast in the messaging and vision for LGBTQ folks, women, and black communities.

I hope many in my circle see this, but I have had conversations with self described communists who don’t care at all about minorities. My takeaway was they became communist when they learned they could guillotine people.

That’s what’s wild- Adam Smith has been totally whitewashed by modern capitalists. They want to believe he is the exact opposite of Karl Marx, but their boy actually has many similarities with Karl that they choose to ignore. Kinda like how they ignore the parts of Jesus’s teachings that don’t vibe with their free markets and guns for all.

Israel is defeated like the US was defeated in Afghanistan. It’s not that the Taliban managed to get tanks rolling through DC, but they killed our international image and took away prescious time, money, energy, and lives. They suffered magnitudes more than us, so just like in any war, there were no winners.

We keep saying “we don’t negotiate with terrorists”, but I’m starting to think that we should consider negotiating with terrorists*.
