You joke, but as a kid in Texas, we would catch anoles like this little guy and hold them up to our ear lobe until they bit down so they’d become little earrings. They’d hang on for what seemed like ages, and we thought it was hilarious.

I think it’s a black cat coming out from behind a shower curtain drinking water from the floor. It’s hard to tell because I’m pretty sure its ears are tucked back and it’s the blackest of vanta blacks.

That and the soles of your shoes also tell their own unique story.

Having said that, I kinda wish it were named “yeow.”

There are plenty of videos that disprove what you’re saying. Cats do meow at each other, especially as a form of aggression, where it’s usually the deep and long almost growl-like meow.

You may be right. I am pretty ignorant on this subject.
