2·4 months agoYou might also see if you can find a plumbing community and post as many details as you can… I’m an experienced DIY person who has done a lot hands on and read a lot, but I’m not a plumber so I still have blind-spots.
Sometimes even new(er) valves fail. If you have hard water then that is plenty of time to mess one up. In a best case scenario, you can lookup your make/model of faucet to buy a ‘cartridge’ for it and find the instructions on how to replace that. In more extreme cases / poor designs, you could have to tear into the wall and replace the entire thing.
A lot of showers need a new mixer valve…
The pole would basically be a space elevator. I suspect gravity and inertia would effectively keep you from moving the stick. Even if you could move it, you’d only be able to move it at a speed that would seem like it’s stationary. As such, the light would still be faster.

If you want to do something for them, then do something for them. What you’ve suggested doesn’t accomplish anything.
Use your fingers to open their mouth/jaw. Place pill as far back as you can reach. Hold their mouth shut. Lift their head slightly and semi-aggressively stroke their neck which will force them to swallow. Double check they didn’t houdini the pill at any point along the way.

Don’t care… he’s done and his evils will be eclipsed by Trump by orders of magnitude.
Many of the classrooms were old Army barracks buildings. The people of the county were notoriously cheap and wouldn’t ever pay for a new school until it literally started dropping chunks of plaster and cement in the classrooms. Yet, the basketball court was one of the best around.
The American voters chose Trump - both those who voted for him and those who failed to vote against him. The genocide will be thorough as a result.
