I got to do some pretty cool things, I lived out of pos in worm hole space with a close nit group during the first year of them, I flew with Rooks and Kings and Pandemic Legion.
But I wish I stopped then. I came back a few years later and that was so depressing.

My son is 50/50 Thai / English.
We live in Thailand and he is accepted as 100% Thai.

I hang out with my son and we play games together. We either play together or he plays on the PS5 and I play on the PC in the same room.
It’s allowed me to teach him healthy habits such as taking a break when he’s getting frustrated rather than getting angry at the game. We also share our triumphs and disasters which makes it much more social and since I’m a gamer I can curate the games he plays.
Personally I’ll be gaming until I die, fortunately my wife doesn’t see it as immature as I’ve never allowed it to interfere with being a functional adult.
That’s my thinking. As an example the people who usually end up answering people’s tech queries are the most likely to end up here.
For me it’s been finding a partner with similar morals.
In my case it’s trying to be a decent person, as a result if my partner or I fuck up we trust each other to want to improve.
I’d look into something with at least a Intel® UHD Graphics 730 iGPU.
It’ll give you some flexibility to add hardware transcoding in the future.
