  • Someone on here previously advised to load the job description in chatgpt, tell it to do a job interview based on the application. I thought that was a great idea. Be early for your interview. You don’t have to enter right away so you can be 30 minutes early but enter 10-15 minutes before your appointment, no earlier. Make sure you have a backup plan in case of traffic or transportation delays. Dress in business professional even in their dress code is business casual. Good luck!

  • Deplatforming works. Don’t give any oxygen at all to fascists.

Using a differences-in-differences approach, we show that on average the network disruptions reduced the consumption and production of hateful content, along with engagement within the network among periphery members. Members of the audience closest to the core members exhibit signs of backlash in the short term, but reduce their engagement within the network and with hateful content over time. The results suggest that strategies of targeted removals, such as leadership removal and network degradation efforts, can reduce the ability of hate organizations to successfully operate online.

  • I am surprised they were cowed into removing it….eventually:

After the Indianapolis Star posted a story about the quote, the newsletter was updated with “context” in a bright yellow bubble above it on Wednesday night. “The quote from a horrific leader should put parents on alert,” it attempted to explain, according to a screenshot. “If the government has control over our children today they control our country’s future. We The People [sic] must be vigilant and protect children from an overreaching government.”

That context certainly does not help the situation, which is probably why the group then had to issue an apology. A redesigned issue of the newsletter, uploaded on Thursday, removed the Hitler quote and its context bubble.
