Less standardized than just the most natural coloring. Or wildcat coloring. The standard insofar as monocolor coats, long hair, calico, etc. are nonstandard for cats as a species.

To head off potential misunderstandings. The “disabling it permanently” in the post meant something like somehow replacing the function with a noop so even if it gets reactivated, it wouldn’t do anything anymore.

And by “deactivating Adaptive Brightness” I didn’t mean just manually changing brightness and then being annoyed when it adapts again. I mean going into the Settings and disabling it, but somehow it gets reenabled randomly.

Nope. But my problem isn’t that disabling it again is too bothersome. It’s that even if I go into Settings->Display and turn off Adaptive Brightness, it turns on again without asking on its own randomly while I’m using my phone.

That’s the joke.

Yeah, I’ve heard of this scenario basically the first time I heard about climate change period, and that was before 2004.

So what? The topic wasn’t about her being a biological woman. It was about her being a woman and whether she was qualified to have an opinion as the woman she is.

She does accept who she is: A woman born in a biologically male body who chose to change her body to fit who she is.

Now if the topic had been something only biological women experience, like menstruation or pregnancy, your argument would have some relevance. But it wasn’t. The topic was wether or not to trend towards believing women about rape allegations, a topic where it doesn’t matter whether you were born without a Y chromosome.

That’s giving him way too much credit. More like an Austin Powers villain, and even that is questionable.

Either that or it’s an innovation on kglitch’s side. Kglitch also renamed magazines to communities so as to use the same terminology as lemmy and removed the reputation system.
