I dont know where I heard this story but it was something like the following:

In a company a very valuable machine breaks and becomes inoperable, so they call the support. They send a mechanic to fix the machine. The mechanic arrives inspects the machine, opens it, presses a button and it works as if nothing happened. The manager then asks why he is paying the mechanic just to press a button. The mechanic answers “you aren’t paying me for pressing the button, but for knowing which button to press”.

This is absolutely true. I personally realised, that online discussions about veganism are useless. Every single time it ends in a shit show. In real life you can have very good and meaningful discussion and even if you may disagree with them in some parts, you can at least learn why they think the way it is.

Currently we aren’t at a point, where the fascists(AfD) gonna form a coalition. Its very likely that the conservatives(CDU) will be the leading party. However, they still have to get a majority so they will have to form a coalition with either the populist authoritarian right(BSW), the green party or the social democrats(SPD). The liberals(FDP) and the left may not pass the 5% hurdle and therefore won’t have any influence on the politics. FDP, SPD, and the green party are the currently governing Partys(even tho the FDP blasted the coalition and doesn’t do anything anymore) Currently it may be possible that CDU and SPD(which have ruled a lot of times before) are able to form a coalition by themselves, although it currently isn’t very likely that this is possible. So they need a third party to coalate with. This will be either the AfD (they currently aren’t a a point where they will work together), the greens or BSW. The chancellor candidate for the CDU announced that he doesn’t want to coalate with those, so its probably going to be CDU, SPD and BSW. In theory the SPD should be able to hold back the CDU from destroying alle progressive work that has been done in the past 4 years, but sadly they have a history of betraying everyone to be able to govern for 4 more years.

So in short, we will likely have a right conservative government, but we won’t have fascists(yet). It will devinetively get worse the next 4 years.

Germany does recognise this, however we won’t give you guys Asyl, since that would mean that the USA is absolutely fucked and we can’t admit that(sadly).

Factorio is great. I don’t think Theres another game that sucked up so many hours so quick. I absolutely love it. It takes a shit load of time(my first world took 40 hours and didnt complete the game). I’m now starting a new world because of space age, and already have a lot of plans on how to improve my world to male it better(starting with currently building a blueprint for a mall and rushing to robots in order to not being forced to build everything by hand). Also, disabling biters is a very good thing to do. I don’t want to focus on fighting biters. I just want to see the factory grow.

I think in some cases this is really true. There are enough people switching workplaces because their current workplace sucks. If you have enough money but you hate being forced into office, have to drive every day for 1.5h and getting little to no benefits its absolutely worth to switch to another workplace even if you get slightly less money.

Generally speaking you’re completely right, but there devinetively are people out there who are homophobic, that are in reality homosexual. I have no clu e how many but they do exist(a friend of one of my closer friends had this. He turned from being a homophone into a homosexual).
