Exactly! It all looks good on paper, but I’m definitely waiting for reviews. Fool me once…

I always remind myself to do this… Interesting post but no comments? Just add the first comment and a conversation will start - for me at least, there was always somebody commenting.
Another benefit is that they are more often then not patched up and better playable, compared to the release.
That describes it perfectly!
Yup, after reddit I tried it again and join a lot of servers… but as you said, it was just a bit too overwhelming.
How can anyone can keep up with the big ones? I’ve tried it a few times, but it’s really hard to get a conversation going…
As soon as I got a good deal on a 1TB SSD I bought one for my PS5!
Unfortunately, despite the promise, that games will get much smaller due to sony’s special compression technique - most of them didn’t really.
So I guess the correct answer is never enough haha.

I edited my post as well.

Don’t use the “all” feed. I only use it to discover new communities (but there is also a specific community for that).
For my daily browsing I exclusively use the “subscribed” feed.
Edit: the community I mentioned is https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected] or [email protected]
I mostly listen to audio books for sleeping that I’ve already read or listened too before, otherwise it has the opposite effect haha. This way I don’t care if I miss something or re-listen to something.
Sometimes I fall asleep within the same 5 min for a week 😂
I know what you mean, so here are my solutions. My podcast are either about F1 or gaming - so very generic and I have different ones. The topics are very similar, but with different persons and opinions, it’s never the same - so ideal for drifting off.
For audiobooks, I mostly listen to books, I’ve already read or listend to previously. So you know the rough story, but some small details are always missed. My prime example are the harry potter books by stephen fry… I fall asleep within minutes haha
I also have a sometimes hard time falling asleep, I guess I think and overthink everything too much…
So my go-to are audio books and podcasts.
I know were you are coming from and I know a few people who have a clock in the room and sleep… but I just can’t… the rhythmic ticking drives me crazy haha
podcast or audio books are my go to - sometimes I’m stuck on the same chapter for weeks
I played it even one day earlier on PS5… and the experience really wasn’t that great tbh, and than I had a game breaking bug on top of that as well.
I decided to just wait for the DLC and the big patch… we’ll, this took 3 years haha
