It’s not like you have to upgrade your phone every year. People are on different upgrade cycles in which these devices will be a big upgrade.

That and Inbox were peak Google.
Don’t forget “it’s too complicated”
No that’s new to me too, based off me searching the word and seeing the Wiki article on the toy. I’d seen the word because of one of the instances (blahaj zone), but I literally never see the word outside of Lemmy.
TIL blahaj refers to a soft toy shark sold by IKEA.
I’m late to reply but thank you for the response, this is the kind of response and examples I was looking for.
The joke isn’t the program itself, it’s the process of deploying a website to servers.
No, I mean by upholding Private Property Rights
What does this mean though? Like if someone breaks into my house then they shouldn’t be coming over to investigate?
enforcing racist and anti-poor laws they uphold the brutal status quo
Is this not an issue with the laws of the country rather than the police? I feel like it would be an even bigger issue if the police just became a law unto themselves and decided on their own what they should laws they should or shouldn’t enforce.
Police serve the wealthy, rather than the people
Are there common every day examples where this happens? I’ll be honest my exposure to the police is extremely limited and from a UK perspective. Do you mean like the police will prioritise responding faster to wealthy people and are more likely to put resources in solving crimes against them than your average person?
Serious question: What’s the leftists position on police in the ideal but realistic socialist world? What would make ACAB irrelevant?

They do though? They provide a place to live that you can move into way faster than you can if you were buying it. They cover the maintenance costs, and some even provide properties that are fully furnished.
I agree that they hoard properties for financial gain but they do provide something.
Or what?
If you’re a landlord then surely you have the power not to do this with your property or properties?
How is this a controversial take? If you need a wall to keep people in or attempting to emigrate makes you a “defector”, or you’ve built up a huge surveillance network where your neighbours or even partners can report you for bullshit “crimes” , you’re an authoritarian state.
What sort of things out them as “libs”?
I still use my 6T and still love it, but hearing that it’s the best you’ve owned doesn’t fill me with confidence about an upgrade!
That said I don’t think the camera is amazing, the photos from my wifes and friends iPhones look way better.
