Did uptobox provide seed boxes for torrenting, or what was the service like?

Wow TIL about the use of underscore in an interactive session.
Not sure if it’s what you’re looking for, but I’d say the mystery of the dead bear cub in central park 10 years ago. This was minor news back then and basically was forgotten about, until RFK Jr. (former third party presidential candidate) admitted to being the person behind it, confessing it to a confused Roseanne Barr.
Not sure the genre or trope, but Poker Face (and 6 Feet Under), the additional subgenre for me is “who’s gonna die in the first scene”.
What do you mean building our own systems?
The TSA press office said in a statement that this vulnerability could not be used to access a KCM checkpoint because the TSA initiates a vetting process before issuing a KCM barcode to a new member. However, a KCM barcode is not required to use KCM checkpoints, as the TSO can enter an airline employee ID manually. After we informed the TSA of this, they deleted the section of their website that mentions manually entering an employee ID, and did not respond to our correction. We have confirmed that the interface used by TSOs still allows manual input of employee IDs.
TSA: lalala i can’t hear you, everything is fine, no issue here
That’s Tammy, Trey’s ex-girlfriend. This is classic Tammy. Trey broke up with Tammy because Maureen Kanallen said that she saw Tammy flirting with Walt Timny at a party, but she was only doing it to make Trey jealous because you know, she thought that Trey secretly liked Erin Henebry, but he doesn’t like Erin Henebry, it was all a bunch of bull.
Say you don’t know how the US electoral college works without saying you don’t know how the US electoral college works.

Hope these guides are useful for you.
FWIW, if all you have is a truly static website (html, css, and js), then GitHub Pages is free and you can point a custom domain there from your registrar, and don’t have to worry about backups or server uptime.
I’d imagine that would depend on the deployment and environment. Chaining exploits is not unheard of. Maybe a lazy dev figured it’s easier to stop a devastating SQL injection by just restricting the permissions of the client connecting. Or maybe you have an intern with malicious intentions to destroy your company, but you only gave them read access to the database so you assume they can’t drop tables.
Basically taking the Swiss Cheese Model approach, there may be security gaps in the front line but as long as subsequent lines of defense don’t also have big holes, the risk is minimized.
My understanding of the sentence is that if pg_dump
is executed with privileged permissions, the arbitrary SQL function run at the same time will also run with those permissions. So if you have a nightly cron which does pg_dump
with the superuser permission, then it’s possible for someone to run a SQL statement to create a stored procedure using that superuser permission.
wait they make those?? I bet the suction cups don’t hold up. do you have a link, I think I’ll need to test this for myself, for science.
I think the /c/
in your climate town link is messing up my client (Alexandrite). For others who experience the same, here’s an alternate URL: https://www.youtube.com/@ClimateTown
Here’s a list of some of mine which have < 1M subscribers who probably deserve more views
Why not list the ones on Nebula?
It’s still annoying that they spoiled the reveal of Spider Man in the trailers for Civil War. I try to always avoid trailers but there was no way to not know Spiderman made it into the MCU before seeing it in theatres.
To reiterate the other comment about code maintainability, I’d suggest removing all commented out code as your next commit. With git, that information isn’t lost and you can always go back to it on commit d4c981a
. The easiest time to create a clean codebase is when you start the project, and the second easiest time is now. Also might be a good idea to use a pre-commit hook to check if commented code is being committed, to stop you from introducing mess in the future.
Ohhhh you’re totally right. I tried replicating OPs claim and searched for the video title “Building an Open Source Payment System - Sebastian Javier Marchano, Taler System” and there was no red bar. Searching for “GNU Taler” shows the red bar for that same video. It feels like bad UI, overloading the meaning of the red seek bar, but it seems like in this case, that’s saying it’ll skip you to when they start talking about it, not that you previously watched the video.
I don’t particularly like Linus, but he was bearable in this video. As someone who assumed this was a SIM swap, I was genuinely as confused as he was playing it up when he was able to place calls but not receive them. That was really interesting.
