I support this idea, and based on the things I read here, it seems to me that different cultures have different norms for asking a question, and that’s a good thing, but can create not so pleasant social situations here in the internet

I have no problem with questions on forums, sometimes I ask them myself, but I think that if you expect people to try to answer your question, people should be able to expect you to have tried looking for an answer yourself.

This type of answer wouldn’t exist if people typed the question into google instead of reddit/lemmy/forums/etc…

Netflix is very kind in this area, when they say it’s 4k, it’s 3840x2160p 4k, but it also is just a 720p video with linear upscaling applied.

Not in hungary… Here 5G is real, and it has 4G speeds, in exchange, you can get up to 2G speeds with 4G. And it also has 98% coverage, with the 2% following you even in the Telekom building

So basically, it’s not 4k

I prefer a sharper picture, I even play cod on 60hz mode just to see better, but I can’t say I wouldn’t enjoy it better at 144hz at the same resolution.

I always use the resolution above my screen’s on youtube, because the bitrate’s so bad, and the difference is very very noticable on monitors

You can get a new 4K TV for ~200€, and most phones come with a camera greater than 8.3MP, but there’s almost no 4K content available outside of Netfilx shows and tech youtubers

Try building from the revanced manager, it should allow you to login. Also, install microg.

Peertube works really well, just nobody uses it :(
