One of the major dangers and problems I have with passwords saved in a browser is that they are not encrypted, and also the fact that many browsers tend to auto fill login forms, as opposed to a password manager extension, such as Bitwarden, that starts in a locked state with all the data truly encrypted.
I’ve been using passwords manager since a few years, but I switched to Bitwarden around Christmas last year after the data breach from LastPass. It’s so much safer than storing them in the browser or on one service that’s not available elsewhere
I kinda miss Reddit, but after browsing it today, it felt kinda weird. Lemmy is starting to feel more and more like home as more people join in and participate. And also the fact that the 0.18 update fixed the numerous issues, it really helps.
As far as I’m aware, all the MacBook Pros with 4 USB C ports, both the 13 and 15/16inch from 2016 until the Apple Silicon ones arrived, were all Thunderbolt certified. I also remember in a few of the teardowns from iFixit that those devices also has one Thunderbolt controller per side.
