I try to live as frugally as possible, so that if I want to splurge a couple hundred every once in a while, I don’t have to worry about having enough in the bank. My biggest questions for myself is whether or not I’ll really use it, and if buying it used/pre-owned is good enough.

Eh, it’s also a convenience problem. If I want to watch a specific movie, good luck figuring out what streaming service it’s on. It’s so nice to be able to just watch what I want without that hassle.
