I wish I hadn’t installed the update. I was hoping it would make the game run better on the steam deck, but it’s actually worse. I think they’ve increased the graphical fidelity, but it’s come at the expense of the battery. I found a work around to get the game launcher to come up so I could lower the graphics settings to improve battery life, but that doesn’t fix the bugs. They seem to have gotten worse with the update. Never change, Bethesda. Never change.
No matter what, the US Federal government is going to be ruled by a single party, the only question is: will it be the liberal party or the Trump cultists.
Edit: every time I comment this I get downvoted, which I think is odd because it’s irrefutable. The US was a two party system, but one of those two parties has gone completely bat shit insane, leaving only one viable political party in the US. If the bat shit party doesn’t take power, that leaves only one other option. The math is pretty simple here, so I don’t get how this is controversial. Even if you think a new second party will emerge, that’s going to take some time, and in the meantime there will be one political party in control.
Those games seem like they’re for the hyper competitive types, and that’s just not me. Back when I was in high school in the late 90s we would play the original team fortress over the lan in the computer lab. The best part about it for me was trying to come up with funny things to say in the chat.
I won’t even consider buying until it’s been out for at least a year or two. By then the major bugs will have been fixed and all the content added.
Batman Arkham City, then I moved on to Arkham Knight but I streamed that from my desktop because it’s more demanding. Now I’m trying to figure out what to play next. Maybe Jedi Fallen Order.
It really depends on how you define “successful.” If your measure of success is based on how closely these societies resemble Western, liberal, capitalist societies, then, yeah, you’re probably not going to see a whole lot of “success,” but that’s not what these revolutionary movements were trying to achieve. I would say that first and foremost what essentially every communist movement was striving for was just autonomy and independence, and many have been successful in that regard. Vietnam is an independent nation, instead of a French colony. China, similarly, is no longer under the thumb of the British. You may not like what these nations do with their autonomy, but that is what they were striving for and they have achieved it.
